RWA won planning permission for a new 3-bedroom family home on a backland plot at the heart of the Stanton by Dale Conservation Area in Derbyshire.

The design picks up on the material and steep pitched roofs of neighbouring terraced cottages but uses this kit-of-parts to form an elegant, Arts and Crafts style elevation fronting its garden and the village centre beyond.
